Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Power Subsystem Engineer to join our team. As a Power Subsystem Engineer for space systems, your main activities will include:
- Analyzing power requirements at the system level, deriving lower-level requirements, and preparing relevant unit or subsystem specifications.
- Defining the power system architecture based on received requirements.
- Defining power interfaces among power items and power users.
- Performing analyses on power sources (e.g., solar arrays, batteries, fuel cells) and power interfaces for both sizing and performance evaluation.
- Defining performance, interface, and test requirements for the power system and power sources.
- Specifying and reviewing technical documentation, such as Subsystem/Unit technical specifications, Technical Notes/Analyses, and Test Specifications and reports.
- Managing and/or participating in technical meetings with subcontractors and/or clients.
Qualifications
Educational:
- Degree in Electronics or equivalent.
Job Experiences:
- Experience in power electronic system or power unit design.
- Strong knowledge of energy production with solar panels.
- Capability in power analysis and circuit simulation.
Software Knowledge:
- MS Office package (Word, Excel, Access).
- Proficiency in using software tools like Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic, Spice.
Languages:
- English (mandatory)
- French (optional)
Others:
- Availability for medium business trips in Italy or abroad.
